The Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre is hosting the third annual Victorian Psycho-oncology Research Conference on Friday 16th October 2015. The conference will have a focus on cancer patients and their family members and will include discussions on important topics such as: supportive care for children, adolescents and young adults with cancer; neurocognition; cancer-related fatigue; sexuality and psychological morbidity as a result of a cancer diagnosis.
In this webinar Dan Costa examines the definition of quality of life, and why, despite what you may sometimes hear (and say), "quality of life" is almost never an appropriate outcome in research. We will discuss various definitions and models that attempt to distinguish quality of life from related concepts.
