12/12/2017 - 3 x PhD Scholarships with Cancer Council NSW

Cancer Council NSW is searching for applicants for three PhD scholarships funded by the Cancer Council NSW. These scholarships comprise of a $30,000, tax free stipend, and an additional $2,500 research support funding per year for three years.


In collaboration with an outstanding research team, the successful PhD Candidates will undertake either:

  • one of two PhD projects focused on Lynch syndrome, a hereditary cancer condition (supervised by  Dr Natalie Taylor, Cancer Council NSW), or
  • a PhD project focused on lung cancer in the Pathways to a Cancer-Free Future program (supervised by Dr Nicole Rankin, Cancer Council NSW).

A background in epidemiology, public or population health, health sciences, psychology, behavioural science, health economics, or a related discipline is essential for this role.

 

The successful candidates must also fulfil the entry requirements for admission to candidature for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Sydney. Learn more and apply here.
