POCOG COMMUNITY ADVISORY GROUP

PoCoG members greatly value the important contribution that our Community Advisory Group (CAG) makes in shaping the direction of our research to ensure the needs and priorities of the wider community are being addressed.

Our CAG consists of a panel of community members who bring a diverse range of experiences as both patients and carers.

The group advises PoCoG on ways to improve and champion patient centred focus to our research activities through contributing to the development of research projects, attendance at workshops and committee meetings, as well as contributing to various advocacy activities.

CAG OPPORTUNITIES

  • Shaping research through joining a project team or steering committee
  • Advocacy and awareness building within the community
  • Engaging in consumer training
  • Reviewing research materials (e.g., concepts, consent forms and grant applications)
  • Contributing to meetings and workshops
