We are testing a website that provides practical reliable information and support to people who care for an adult with a brain tumour.

Who is it for? Adults 18 years old or above who are currently looking after an adult with a brain tumour or have recently looked after someone with a brain tumour.

What is involved? Complete 2 online surveys and explore and use the website for about 8 weeks at your own pace, whenever you want to. You may be asked to take part in a phone interview. 

 

We would like to invite you to help us understand what life is like after treatment for brain cancer and what you find helpful in available supports.

Who is it for? 

  • People aged 15-40 years who have completed brain cancer treatment that has been successful in controlling, removing or treating a primary or secondary/relapsed brain tumour
  • Caregivers of young people aged 15-40 years who have experienced brain cancer
  • Health professionals who provide treatment and support for young people aged 15-40 years who have experienced brain cancer

What is involved? A brief online questionnaire and a video conference interview that will take about 50 minutes. 

 

Piloting an online portal to support those affected by brain cancer. 

Who is it for? 

  • Individuals aged 16 and over who have been diagnosed with brain cancer OR care for someone diagnosed with brain cancer
  • Health care professionals who provide care to patients with brain cancer

What is involved? A short survey and a video conference interview. 

 
Exploring health professionals' perspective of psychosocial interventions for the management of brain tumour related personality and behaviour changes in brain cancer patients.
 
Who is it for? Health professionals in Australia who provide care for people diagnosed with brain cancer
 
What is involved? A telephone, video or face-to-face (Perth, WA) interview (30-45mins) at a time that is convenient for you.
  
 
We would like to invite health professionals to help us understand your experience and education, support, and resource needs for providing coordinated care for people with primary brain cancer and their families. 
 
Who is it for? Health professionals active in caring or coordinating care for adults with primary brain tumour
 
What is involved? A short online demographic survey (1-3min) and participating in either an individual interview (30-60min) or a focus group (40-90min).
