Ethics approval

This project has been approved by the University of Sydney Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) [2025/HE001461].

We are conducting a research project about the experiences of people with recurrent ovarian cancer who have responded to PARP-inhibitor therapy for an extended period of time. For this cohort of people, it is unclear how long therapy should be continued, particularly due to some concerns about long term side effects.

We want to explore the experiences of consumers around choosing to stop or continue PARP-inhibitor therapy and influences and supports in doing so.
